These are three
unpainted metal 28mm scale Roman Legion
figures. There is some assembly required (e.g.: glueing
the shield to the figure). The photo below is for illustration
only.
The Centurion lead
about 80 to 100 men in battle, he acted like a modern
day sergeant, relaying orders and disciplining the men.
The Optio was his deputy and aided him in his duties.
The Cornicen was a vital role and an honored one. This
musician used the Cornicen when in battle to alert the
legionaries of a change in orders, where the clash of
steel was too loud for words. He also helped keep up
moral in his unit.
