Casting & Filing & Painting tutorials

In order to get the maximum benefit from our molds we advise everyone to read these simple tutorials. The cover the entire process of casting from our molds, including venting the more complex molds. The filing and cleaning tutorial is equally important as it makes sure that your final successful cast will look its best and also on assembly of the more complex figures. We use the Napoleonic 54mm mold as a prime example but the rules can be applied to any of our molds.

The painting tutorial shows how to prime and undercoat the metal figures, covers the basic and more advanced painting techniques of using acrylic model paints. This is a vital tutorial for any painting enthusiast.
